Yummy Paleo Beef Taco’s With Homemade Taco Seasoning
Serves 3-4 people depending on how hungry you are 🙂
500g Lean Beef Mince
1 Yellow Onion, Chopped
A little Olive oil for frying the onion
DIY TACO SEASONING
See the table below. I can’t take credit for this as I found it on www.tomatoboot.co
For the taco’s
Romaine Lettuce leaves (4 leaves serves 2 people)
Homemade Guacamole (Take me to the Recipe→)
Sour Cream or Koko Plain Coconut Yogurt
Goats Cheese, Grated
Mix up your seasoning in a bowl.
Heat a large non-stick frying pan and add half of the beef mince together with half of the seasoning (you shouldn’t need any oil as there will be enough from the beef). Fry until it is cooked through and some of it is slightly browned – this adds to the flavour.
Tip the beef into a separate bowl and do the same with the rest of the beef, then tip into the bowl with the first batch.
Drizzle some olive oil into the hot pan and fry the chopped onion for a few minutes. Add the beef back in to the pan to warm through. You now have your beef taco mix.
To prepare the Taco
Take four romaine lettuce leaves. Add some guacamole to them and spread it along the leaf. Put some yogurt or sour cream on top and spread. Load some beef taco mix on top and then sprinkle with grated goats cheese. Wrap up and enjoy!
